Batman film was released in 1989, it arrived a month after the 50th anniversary of the debut of Batman in the comics, the gothic Batman, directed by Tim Burton and with Michael Keaton as Bruce Wayne/ Batman, was the first film of the hero franchised in theaters.
Starting the second so-called ”Batmania” worldwide, further popularizing the character. With a darker connotation, the franchise rescued Batman’s dark roots. The film also served as inspiration for ”Batman: The Animated Series”, an award-winning animated series created by Bruce Timm and Paul Dini in 1992, where the theme soundtrack created by Danny Elfman was used.
