Who is Anxiety? In the sequel to Inside Out (2015), the mind of the now teenage Riley Andersen discovers new emotions. In addition to the already known Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear, and Disgust, which once predominated in the girl’s control center, the feared Anxiety arrives, along with Envy, Ennui, Embarrassment, and Nostalgia. As she prepares for high school, Riley’s original emotions work together, placing her memories in a new space to help build her character, resulting in the creation of threads that express her inner self.
