The wait finally has an end date. Star Wars: Ahsoka Season 2 has officially revealed its
new teaser trailer at D23, building even more excitement for the next chapter of Ahsoka
Tano’s journey.
Along with the first footage from the upcoming season, Lucasfilm confirmed that the new
episodes will premiere exclusively on Disney+ on January 20, 2027.
What Does the New Teaser Reveal?
The teaser makes it clear that the stakes will be even higher in Season 2. Grand Admiral
Thrawn returns as one of the galaxy’s greatest threats, seeking to rally the Imperial remnant
as Ahsoka and her allies prepare for a new conflict.
The footage also confirms the return of Hayden Christensen as Anakin Skywalker,
showing him training a young Ahsoka and continuing to guide the adult Ahsoka, played by
Rosario Dawson.
Ahsoka’s Story Is Far From Over
Following the events of the first season, the new episodes promise to expand the story on an even larger scale.
While Ahsoka and Sabine Wren search for a way home, Ezra Bridger has reunited with
Hera Syndulla and is fighting alongside the New Republic against the Imperial remnant.
Rosario Dawson has also teased a much bigger season ahead, with higher stakes, larger
battles, and the growing threat of Thrawn looming over the entire galaxy.
One of Star Wars’ Most Anticipated Returns
The release of the teaser has officially put Ahsoka Season 2 back in the spotlight.
With Thrawn becoming an even greater threat, Anakin returning, and several fan-favorite
characters continuing their journeys across the galaxy, the new season is set to expand the
stories that began in The Clone Wars, Star Wars Rebels, and the first season of Ahsoka.
