The new Spider-Noir series has just received its final trailer and is already drawing attention for its unique visual style and much darker tone compared to other Spider-Man universe productions.
Produced by Amazon Prime Video, the series fully embraces the noir aesthetic, bringing viewers into a 1930s New York filled with mystery, corruption, and dangerous investigations.
A Spider-Man unlike anything we’ve seen before
In the story, Nicolas Cage plays Ben Reilly, a private investigator forced to confront his past as the city’s only masked hero.
The trailer makes it clear that the series is taking a much more mature approach, with a
heavy cinematic atmosphere and scenes inspired by classic noir films.
Another detail that caught fans’ attention is that the series will be released in both
black-and-white and color versions.
What to expect from the series
The expectation is a more investigative and psychological story, blending action, suspense, and classic Marvel elements.
At the same time, the production is expected to further expand the multiverse concept
introduced in the Spider-Verse animated films.
When does Spider-Noir premiere?
The series officially premieres on May 27, 2026, on Prime Video.
