Star-Lord in the version of the Marvel Universe, Peter Quill (Chris Pratt), as a child he saw his mother dying of cancer and was abducted by space pirates led by Yondu Udonta (Michael Rooker) as a child. Yondu should take him to his father, from another planet as in the comic books, but ended up creating young Quill as his pupil.
