Drax was created in 1973 by Jim Starlin, played by former WWE fighter Dave Bautista, in the Marvel Universe Drax apparently is not from the Earth as in the comic books, but a brutal warrior of a primitive species that interprets everything literally, without the ability to understand metaphors or sarcasm. Drax wants revenge against Thanos for the murder of his family, so he joins Peter Quill\’s group.
